Sasa Palmatta

The Sasa genus is a group of smaller growing cold hardy bamboo species. Palmatta gets its name from the extra large palm-like leaves. It grows very thick and is great for creekbank erosion control, containers, or landscaping. Below is a grove of Sasa Palmatta behind my daughter. These plants are about 5 feet tall and this likely as big as they will get.
